How to Unsubscribe from FWASA Emails

By Webmaster, 01/08/17, 1:30PM CST

Most of the time, FWASA uses the web site and Social Media for notifications. However, there are times when email notifications are the best way to reach out to all registered FWASA members. As hard as it is for us to admit, there may come a time when you no longer want to receive email notifications.

Keep in mind, that if you are an active player, or hoping to become an active player, you should NOT take the steps below. You must have email notifications enabled to receive messages via the SportsEngine app (game reminders, RSVP requests, etc.).

However, if you need to drop off the grid, for a brief or extended period, the following steps should help.

  1. Sign into the FWASA website.
  2. On the left Navigation bar (or from the drop-down under your user ID top left), click on Account Settings.
  3. Under Notification Settings, deselect the Email Notifications you wish to disable.

That's it! The change is saved automatically, and you should be free from the incessent periodic notifications from FWASA.

Free Agents: In order to remove your name from the Free Agent list, you should instead let the Registrar know via email.
